Introducing a new series that reduces backlash and allows for smaller diameters by changing the torque generation principle from a coil spring method to a leaf spring method, in comparison to our existing OTLC and OTLV types. This is a guide to our small-diameter, bidirectional torque limiter. ■□■Features■□■ ■Compact and lightweight The OTLS2-□□□A has an outer diameter of φ9 and weighs 0.9g. It is smaller and lighter compared to our existing products (OTLC type and OTLV type). ■Usable in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions It can be used in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. ■Improved torque rise characteristics Compared to our OTLC and V types, backlash has been reduced and responsiveness has improved.
